Description
Our Bookseller says:
“This book is based (very loosely) on a snippet of the lives of Margaret Mead and her second and third husbands. The setting and descriptions of the different cultures (all fictional) are beautifully rendered as are the tense moments between the three ethnographers. The book read fast and while the climax of the thing is rather small and not as cleanly drawn as the less actionable moments, I fully enjoyed it.
If you’ve read anything on or by Mead then the protagonist will intrigue you, but King does such an excellent job of bringing these characters to life that such knowledge is not necessary going into the book.” – Miranda
